I was born in 1967, and my musical talent—and curiosity about how instruments work—showed up early. I still remember my parents’ faces when I tried to “dismantle” my first instrument!
My path took me to the National Music School in Bulgaria and then to the State Academy of Music in Sofia, where I studied cello with Professor Zdravko Jordanov. There, I discovered not only the beauty of music but also the art and secrets of luthiery. For more than fifteen years, I have explored this craft, sharing knowledge with colleagues, luthiers, and musicians, and gradually turning a hobby into a true vocation.

As a professional musician in ensembles such as the Bulgarian National Radio Orchestra, the Ruse Philharmonic, and the Festival Les Coréades d’Automne in France, I learned firsthand the needs and challenges musicians face when it comes to repairing, restoring, or simply tuning their instruments.
